To All IAFF Affiliates,
It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the passing of both Clayton Murrell (51) Fire Captain, Local 1253 Union President and BCPFFA Vice-President Kootenay Region and Joan MacKinnon (51) of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada. On February, 3 2018, both Clay and Joan were involved in a serious motor vehicle incident. Clay died on scene from his injuries. On February 7, 2018 Joan succumbed to her injuries at Kelowna General Hospital with family by her side. The family wishes to invite friends and colleagues of Joan and Clay to a joint celebration of life service.
